Tensions Avant la Rentrée : Le SAEMSS Prédit une Année Scolaire Agitée
La date de la rentrée des classes est fixée au 5 octobre, mais déjà les signes annonciateurs de difficultés émergent. Le Syndicat autonome des enseignants du moyen secondaire du Sénégal (SAEMSS) élève la voix et met en garde le gouvernement, pointant du doigt le manque de dialogue et de préparation concertée pour l’année scolaire à venir.
Défis Imminents : Manque de Concertation et Problèmes Matériels
Selon Birame Guèye, porte-parole du SAEMSS, cette rentrée s’annonce mouvementée en raison de nombreux obstacles constatés sur le terrain. Certains établissements sont encore inondés, d’autres envahis par les mauvaises herbes. De plus, le syndicat dénonce le défaut de concertation avec les partenaires sociaux, soulignant que les accords conclus avec l’État l’année précédente pour améliorer les conditions d’enseignement ne sont pas encore pleinement appliqués. Malgré les préoccupations exprimées par le syndicat, le gouvernement a choisi de procéder unilatéralement dans l’organisation de la rentrée, sans tenir compte des points de vue des acteurs clés du système éducatif.
Birame Guèye met en garde l’État, soulignant que l’année à venir est également marquée par des échéances électorales, susceptibles d’entraîner des perturbations dans le déroulement des cours. Il insiste sur l’importance d’une discussion préalable pour garantir une année scolaire paisible et constructive, mais déplore le manque d’engagement du gouvernement dans ce processus. En cas de problèmes au cours de cette année, le gouvernement sera tenu responsable, prévient-il.
